Spitz Announces Deal with Zula USA LLC to Produce Digital Dome Theater Show 'Fulldome Video' is a new, immersive projection format for planetariums and science museums in which the viewer is surrounded by a gigantic hemispheric image on a dome-shaped screen. Spitz Creative Media is dedicated to developing innovative, high-quality 'fulldome video' shows that make learning about science and astronomy fun. We are constantly on the look-out for new programs that fit this bill. When we first saw Zula Patrol, we knew right away that it would be great for the planetarium. The characters are endearing, the stories are cleverly written, and the shows have a positive message. Zula obviously has a top-notch creative team -- the shows are very story-driven, and its easy to get lost in the fun. The writers sort of 'sneak in' the science when the kids anre't paying attention. We are really excited about bringing a new Zula adventure to planetariums worldwide. There are a number of video shows for these theaters available, but very little aimed at younger audiences. A dome-format Zula Patrol show will take kids on a fun-filled 'ride,' while delivering knowledge and information about our universe in new and exciting ways. What attracted us to The Zula Patrol was the fun way in which Zula teaches science and astronomy to kids - good science in an entertaining, adventure-based wrapper. We saw Zula as a natural fit with the kind of shows we create for planetarium and science museum theaters. We are excited about bringing Zula to the dome screen -- we think it will really click with audiences, especially with younger viewers. Mike Bruno Creative Media Director Spitz, Inc. Overview - The Zula Patrol, those colorful and energetic Galactic fact-gatherers, have been planet-hopping across the Solar System on their never-ending quest for knowledge, and they've finally landed on Earth to study the weather on our home planet. We can experiment right along with them and learn what weather is, how it works, what affects it, and how it affects us. This compact 1000 square foot exhibition is anchored by six free-standing installations that combine to create the colorful world of Zula. Captain Bula, Professor Multo, Space Pilot Zeeter, flying wonders Wizzy and Wigg, and Space Pet Gorga invite you to apply the scientific method as you explore the exhibits and learn all about clouds, precipitation, wind, temperature, and other weather phenomenon.
