Zula offers rigorous inquiry-based science programs, titled Zula's Exploration Mission Modules™, developed specifically for students in preschool through third grade. We've developed these programs not only to help fill the void of science curricula in some early-education classrooms, but also because we know that a strong science foundation helps students succeed in school. Zula's Exploration Mission Modules™ provide hands-on, interactive, investigative lessons designed to get young children thinking scientifically. The lessons promote the teaching of science as inquiry and support specific state and national science, math, and language arts standards. Zula's Exploration Mission Modules™ can help your young students discover the exciting world of science.

Goals

  1. To provide innovative materials and methods for stimulating young children's interest in science inquiry, math and language arts:
    • This is accomplished through an integrated approach to learning, incorporating science, math, language arts, and other core curriculum areas.
  2. To support a teacher's cross-curricular, multidisciplinary approach to getting children excited about science, math and language arts:
    • The step-by-step Teacher's Guide for each lesson includes preparation steps for easy planning, and materials lists at the point of use. Icons throughout the guide indicate opportunities to connect science to other subject areas.
