Teachers in Collier County, Florida

"I LOVE THIS CURRICULUM!!! I started with Plants and Animals and we all had a blast!!! My assistant and I had as much fun as the kids!!! I have been using my DVR to record the episodes at home and my own kiddos, 6 and 4 love to watch them! I saw that new kits are being created, that is fantastic. I am very impressed with how easy the teacher book is to follow and I can organize a lesson in such little time. Just know this is one PreK teacher who now loves SCIENCE!!!!"

"The Curriculum is easy to use with ample background information to complete each lesson."

"Students love The Zula Patrol characters."

"Teachers like the journaling aspect of the lessons."

"The students really are learning about Mixtures and Solutions. Students are discussing mixtures in the appropriate context 2 months after the lesson!

"Students seem to retain the material because of the inquiry based approach."

"Two teachers have said they wished they would have had the Zula Modules when they were getting their National Board Certification because they tie into all the requirements they had to show for the certification."

"I love Zula Science, and so do my kids! I have attached a power point of pictures from our lessons. I still can't believe that my 4 year olds know and understand Mixtures, Solutions, and Chemical Reactions. It is CRAZY!!!! I love science and I think the Zula Curriculum is awesome! I would love for you to check us out in action. Hope you enjoy the pictures!"

"I participated in the Zula Ready, Set -Science webinar on Saturday September 26th. The webinar and a follow-up meeting provided additional teaching materials continuing with the theme of weather. This format proved to be very informative and allowed for participant input. The materials provided were very simple and fun, they would be incredibly user friendly and appropriate for the early childhood grades. Students will be able to use science inquiry by observing, measuring, comparing, making predictions, collecting data and interpreting data. The two lesson plans included books relating to the topic for read aloud; "Mission Spin Off" which provided additional activities for the students relating to the topic, allowing them to make a connection to the topic. The lesson plans also included "Home Mission" which are activities children can do at home with their parents to extend the learning. While participating in the webinar I was able to make my own weather vane using the materials listed in the lesson plan.

The Zula Webinar was a great tool to follow-up the Zula in person training. It allowed for continued access to Zula and their expertise in developing science lessons for the early childhood grades."
