Dear Teachers, Outreach Coordinators and Parents:

The Zula Launchpad for Learning activities have been created for Pre-K through 2nd grade children, and come in two levels: Level 1: Jr. Cadet and Level 2: Cadet. The Jr. Cadet level activities are designed as foundational tools upon which the deeper, Cadet level activities can be built.

...was created to "cultivate young children's interest and awareness in science and astronomy...starting them on a path toward lifelong learning, investigation, and discovery" (No Child Left Behind Act).

...is coming at just the right time too! The No Child Left Behind Act requires that, beginning in 2007, states measure students' progress in science at least once in each of three grade spans (3-5, 6-9, 10-12)."
